Penny’s real estate experience began at the Corcoran Group where she joined the team of one of the top brokers in New York City. Working with this elite group, she was exposed to all facets of the high-end Manhattan real estate market, with sales in some of New York’s most coveted addresses.

After almost a decade at Corcoran Group, Penny launched her own brokerage. With utmost care, confidentiality and courtesy, she strives to find the perfect neighborhood, building and apartment to fulfill her client’s requirements. All this is accompanied by her warm personality and enthusiasm.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Penny came to New York to work in home furnishings design. Visiting London, she discovered a small shop on Old Church Street in Chelsea – owned by a virtually unknown Manolo Blahnik. Recognizing his genius, Penny introduced his brand to America, opening the first store on Madison Avenue and expanding through specialty retailers. From fashion footwear, she gravitated to the world of art and antiques working for Sotheby’s and later important dealers.
“The best word for Penny is effective. My family and I have benefited from her knowledge in many transactions.” . . . H. Effron
